Plunging cliffs, rocky inlets and unexpected bays with sandy beaches shape the south-east coast of Ireland, where friendly fishing villages and medieval Viking cities add a lively human bustle to the scene prepared by nature. These images by local photographer Brendan Jackman uniquely capture the beauty, colour and atmosphere of this part of the Emerald Isle.
"....Jackman has an almost cinematic understanding of light, natural light and artificial light and his studies of this more than illuminate the orange glow of happiness of the Wallace Plaza for Skyfest, or how a quick pan of the camera turns a firework burst into a meteor shower..."
